Wintertime Fun - Minus Heavy Coats and Snow...

We haven't had much more than an inch or two total accumulation of snow where we live this winter. I don't need a ton of it but I do feel we have been shortchanged somehow.

I mean if it is going to be cold (okay, we have had a few early Spring like days scattered here and there), I want at least one snow where my girls can go out and make snow angels, build snowmen, slide down our neighbor's hill and come inside begging  asking for hot cocoa with extra marshmallows.

Since that hasn't happened this year, my girls found another way to have fun...

GET READY...
JUMP!!!
Do you remember how much fun jumping off of things used to be when you were a kid? There wasn't hesitation. There wasn't thinking about the what ifs. It was just plain old fun.

I would've joined them but it looked a little high for me and I was worried that I would break something. ;-)

Yes. And I wanted a trampoline SO BAD. Never got one, though *sniffle*

It looks like the girls are having a great time Kristen..Life is so much easier as a kid probably because fear doesn't hold us back when we're little. We just take a chance and jump. Great post my friend. xo

Jumping is awesome. We have been through 2 trampolines in the past 8 years so we're pretty much jumping experts.

Jumping really is a past time of kids! My little girl would have loved to join them. She is always jumping from the couch or the old changing table....or anything else she finds.
Me, I'd have sided with you, looks a little high for my tastes!

That really was fun as a kid. Now I think my knee would shatter or something! But I'd still go on a trampoline!

Great pics and yes I remember the joy of jumping! I used to jump out of trees as a kid to scare my brother and sister.
We've had just 1 snowfall in NY this winter which is really unusual. I also feel like my kids are getting shortchanged. They love playing in the snow. And now next week is March already...winter may be finished :(

Jumping off high places without hesitation really is a fun kid thing, isn't it? Princess Nagger and Little Dude like to do that, too - and try to get me to follow their lead, but like you I'm afraid of breaking something. Or at least looking like a bigger dork. ;)

Great photos. Honestly, I've missed the snow this season. And when we got a dusting, I was in Charlotte.

We are yet to have a decent snow for me to take A out in yet! By the time it stops actually snowing, the snow is usually gone, or it's too late. Darn. Looks like your girls are having tons of fun!

Like I said... Miss you. The girls look like they are having so much fun! I know... Winter w/o snow is WEIRD. I feel. Ad for my kids and I. Miss days where hubs and I used to crave a snow day. You know how everyone runs for bread and milk before .3 inches of snow? Well - I always ended up at the liquor store. :)
