The Best of Friends

My two girls have been playing together since they woke up at 7:30ish this morning. It is now 5:00PM as I write this.

 They have brought out their Littlest Pet Shop, Barbies, Zhu Zhu pets Silly Bandz and Legos. They have gone through an Oriental Trading Catalogue and cut out pictures of their favorite items. They have cleaned it all up when moving from one project to the next.

They have paused for breakfast, lunch, a quick swim and will shortly be wrapping it up for the day as we move onto dinner, a movie on the couch with the family and finally bedtime.

They have had a moment or two of brief frustration but they have had a great day together. These days happen more often than not in our house. I know on the days where they are arguing I tend to exaggerate and say "You two need to learn how to get along!". You know what though?! They do...and it is heart warming!!

Neither one of them remember life with out the other (they are just shy of being two years apart) and that is how I always want it to be.

Thanks! It was so fun taking a stroll down memory lane on the computer. Sometimes I can't believe they are 9 & 7 years old already!

Amazing how time really does go by so fast!! You never believe anyone when they tell you. Now we are the ones telling people to "enjoy the time while you can"
Oh and the music makes me want to cry. :(

I have been keeping up to date with you blogs, but not the comments. Sorry!!! What a fantastic creation of love & memories!!!!!! The pictures of the Girls are so precious & beautiful. Time does fly by but at least you have captured wonderful memories, unlike us older folks who took pictures with no dates or names. From black & white to color, to amazing special effects. How awesome!!!!!

These are great pictures -- I LOVED seeing them. I hope my house is more peaceful one day. Do brothers get a long like this? Why do I have the feeling they don't until they are grown?!
